Bilingual Repair Technician Supervisor (computer repair) - Elgin, IL
$55,000 to $65,000 Annually Plus Benefits

If so, please consider our Bilingual Repair Technician Supervisor (Computer Repair), you will be essential in overseeing a team diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Your core skills in equipment repair will be vital in delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment independently in accordance with product reference cost standards, customer specifications, and internal processes and procedures.
• Oversee a team of 5 to 8 repair techs, coach, mentor and train
• Provide technical guidance to technicians on complex repairs, follow established ISO procedures.
• Monitor daily shop performance to ensure expected results, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Assign daily and weekly work plans aligned to customer delivery dates, production plans, and company deliverables.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify and implement best practices, lean concepts, and process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve repair outcomes.
• Monitor and manage department consumables, supplies, and inventory levels to prevent shortages.
• Communicate with operations manager and cross-functional teams regarding, progress, any delays, challenges, KPIs, and escalation needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team of 5-8 repair techs
• 1 year of progressive experience in computer/tablet or equipment repair
• Spanish/English bilingual
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively document and communicate repair needs
• Proven experience with computer hardware repair, including soldering and equipment repair techniques.
