Junior Project Manager – Wastewater Treatment Construction

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado
Base Salary: $100,000–$130,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of wastewater treatment facility construction projects in the Greenwood Village, Colorado area.

The Junior Project Manager will work alongside senior project leadership to assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination while gaining experience managing complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing wastewater treatment facility construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Review project drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents.
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving field issues.
• Help manage subcontractor performance and maintain project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with project safety standards, quality requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Support procurement activities and material tracking.
• Assist with project reporting, change orders, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Junior Project Manager in heavy civil, water, wastewater, or industrial construction.
• Experience supporting municipal water or wastewater treatment facility projects is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar construction management software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wastewater treatment plant construction.
• Knowledge of concrete structures, mechanical piping, process equipment, or underground utilities.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
