Program Coordinator & Inspector – Energy Efficiency Initiatives
Location: Northern Illinois / Chicago Metro
Overview:
Support the delivery of residential and commercial energy efficiency programs by coordinating projects, performing inspections, and engaging with customers and contractors. This role combines office-based program support with field inspections to ensure quality and compliance, contributing to climate change mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate program activities, process transactions, and maintain quality metrics.

Manage communications: email, phone calls, and customer inquiries.

Support training and engagement for contractors, distributors, and program participants.

Create and manage electronic forms, spreadsheets, and databases.

Perform field inspections of HVAC, lighting, and other efficiency projects.

Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and ensure compliance.

Represent the program during customer and contractor interactions.

Use systems effectively (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Salesforce, etc.).
Qualifications:

3–5 years of program coordination, administration, or inspection experience (energy efficiency preferred).

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Ability to work independently, travel locally, and represent the program professionally.
