Job Description:

Lead Oracle architecture, design, development, performance tuning, and technical problem-solving across UI-to-database flows. Translate business requirements into database, ETL, reporting, and integration solutions while partnering with technology and QA teams. Serve as a hands-on technical lead who can code, review, identify edge cases, and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience communicating technical designs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.
  • \n

  • Create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, materialized views, and views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and Oracle 12.
  • \n

  • Strong leading capabilities along with coding skills: understand business requirements and translate them while working with other technology team members, including the QA team.
  • \n

  • Perform code reviews, identify edge cases, and provide solutions to address them.
  • \n

  • Load huge data sets from multiple vendors and perform data cleansing, data transformations, and data loading involving data modeling and data analytics.
  • \n

  • Work on performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects and build optimized objects.
  • \n

  • Perform logical and physical design of databases, data modeling, and design specifications to analyze dependencies and perform risk analysis.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts for all change requests that are performed.
  • \n

  • Write complex queries to identify potential issues when interfaces fail and remediate them.
  • \n

  • Automate flat file loading to Oracle using SQL Loader and create control files for that activity.
  • \n

  • Able to understand the flow end to end from UI to DB.
  • \n

  • Oracle PL/SQL objects, SQL performance tuning, materialized views, functions, triggers, packages, and views.

  • ETL processing with Python, Oracle, and Unix.

  • Complex Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing and create reports on real-time, daily, and weekly basis.
  • \n

  • SQL Loader and control files for automated flat-file ingestion.
  • \n

  • GitHub Copilot or other Dev Assist tools and capabilities.
