ComResource is looking for a Lead Agilist.

We need someone to assist in supporting Agile Squads by coaching, facilitating, and ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum principles while driving team performance and delivering business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Agile Squads in understanding and applying Agile and Scrum values and principles.
  • Facilitate Scrum events and ensure teams derive value from them (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement).
  • Coach Product Owners and Development Teams in effective Product Backlog management.
  • Promote continuous improvement, cross-functionality, and software craftsmanship within Squads.
  • Build trusting environments for collaborative problem-solving.
  • Remove impediments and escalate when necessary to appropriate organizational entities.
  • Foster self-organization, learning, and growth within the Squad.
  • Collaborate with other team members and Agile Centers to improve overall team effectiveness.
  • Model servant leadership and lead by example.
  • Ensure all actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

Essentials:

  • 5+ years of full-time business experience.
  • 3+ years of Scrum experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating within team environments.
  • Proven ability to resolve interpersonal and organizational conflicts.
  • Coaching skills with the ability to communicate complex messages effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Desired:

  • Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, Scrumban, XP, Mob programming).
  • Familiarity with software lifecycle development disciplines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience using empirical data to benefit team performance.
  • Ability to promote innovative thinking and foster a growth mindset within teams.
