Job Overview
TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a leading aerospace and technology organization in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with desktop support, IT help desk, or technical support experience who enjoy providing hands-on customer service and troubleshooting end-user technology issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote desktop support to end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows 11 hardware and software issues
- Support desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and basic network connectivity
- Respond to service requests and technical incidents in a timely manner
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately
- Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting daily business operations
- Assist users with workstation setup, software installations, and general IT support
Required Skills
- Desktop Support experience
- Windows 11 troubleshooting and support
- End-user technical support experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing both remote and on-site support
- Experience supporting enterprise or corporate environments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT support processes
