Construction Project Executive
A well-established design-build firm is seeking a Construction Project Executive to lead and oversee in-house construction project teams. This senior-level role is responsible for mentoring project managers, ensuring quality execution, and maintaining strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will bring experience with large industrial or manufacturing projects - particularly in food, automotive, or cold storage sectors - and a deep understanding of design-build delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction across construction project teams
- Ensure projects meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives
- Mentor staff and promote continuous process improvement
- Oversee coordination between disciplines and ensure efficient project execution
- Lead project pursuits and support business development efforts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Review and refine project reporting systems; prepare reports for clients and senior leadership
- Manage subcontractor prequalification, bidding, and award processes
- Negotiate and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Conduct site visits and lead project progress meetings
- Oversee project documentation and status reporting
- Supervise site personnel and ensure adherence to safety and performance standards
