SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to the Production and HR Department. This position assists with production and Human Resources needs during season. Must be able to juggle the demands of day-to-day operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the day-to-day operation of the office.
- Greet and welcome visitors; have them sign in and fill out GMP’s, direct the visitor to the appropriate party.
- Assist organizing any employee events.
- Assist with maintaining employee records, aiding recruitment, onboarding new hires, and answering employee queries.
- Assist production, shipping and lab with any employee phone calls to cancel or to schedule employees to work according to production needs.
- Update all employee forms available in the breakroom.
- Posting production, lab, and shipping weekly work schedule in breakroom or any other bulletin board.
- Print and post daily general labor and operators lunch break schedule in corresponding working areas.
- Print all forms provided to visitors and Sign In Log.
- Collect daily production shift rosters from breakroom and Shipping and Receiving’s shift roster from G street and file in front office binder.
- Pick up mail from Morning Star, sort, and distribute daily to correspondent.
- Order required material and keep up with office supplies.
- Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Assist sanitation with any questions and getting cleaning supplies list to provide to LB purchasing.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows and Excel.
- Very detail oriented and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
- Problem Solving – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Effective oral and written communication.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; and occasionally stoop. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
