Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager - HVAC will support the project management team in overseeing HVAC projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with contractors, ensuring project specifications are met, and maintaining communication between stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing HVAC projects according to deadlines and budgets
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment needed for HVAC projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during all phases of the project
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Project Management OR 5-years equivalent experience in HVAC site work assisting in all or part of Project management duties
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and construction processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
