CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complex network troubleshooting: OSPF/BGP adjacency issues, VLAN misconfigurations, spanning tree problems
- Multi-vendor hardware support across diverse environments
- Circuit turn-ups and acceptance testing (dark fiber, wavelength, Ethernet)
- Optical testing using OTDR, power meters, and fiber inspection scopes
- System commissioning and burn-in procedures
- Technical leadership for deployment projects (crew supervision)
- Root cause analysis documentation for hardware and connectivity failures
- Coordination with carriers, ISPs, and third-party vendors
- Emergency response and P1/P2 incident onsite leadership
- Development and refinement of site-specific runbooks and MOPs

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Security+ certification.
- BICSI Installer or Technician certification.
- Experience with Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or similar enterprise hardware.
- Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DCIM platforms and asset management systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-8 years of data center or network operations experience
- CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent networking certifications
- Advanced fiber optic certification (CFOT/CFOS)
- Demonstrated OTDR proficiency and fiber characterization experience
- Experience leading teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
