Job Description

Job DescriptioncFocus Software seeks a DADMS Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of professional experience in relation to the Department of the Navy Applications and Database Management System (DADMS), Navy Information Dominance Approval System (NAV-IDAS), and the Information Technology Purchasing Request Process (ITPR).
  • Experience working with Functional Area Managers (FAMs) in researching the status of software applications in DADMS, along with managing site software portfolios, inputting new applications into DADMS, and working with site Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in understanding their software requirements.
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification

Duties:

  • Manage and maintain DADMS records for software applications, databases, and systems across Navy programs.
  • Support the registration, tracking, and approval of applications and databases in DADMS in compliance with Navy and DoD policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of DADMS data, including system owners, lifecycle status, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist stakeholders with application registration, renewal, and compliance reporting within DADMS and eMASS environments.
  • Review and validate software entries for cybersecurity and configuration management compliance.
  • Coordinate with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and system owners to ensure DADMS entries align with RMF requirements.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support audits, inspections, and program management reviews.
  • Maintain awareness of DADMS updates, version changes, and process improvements to ensure continued compliance.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, acquisition, and technical teams to ensure alignment of DADMS records with approved baselines.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for DADMS processes and data management.
  • Provide training and guidance to users and program staff on DADMS processes and compliance expectations.
  • Perform data analysis to identify discrepancies, gaps, or risks within DADMS application inventories.
  • Ensure DADMS records support accurate reporting for system authorization packages and operational readiness assessments.
