KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OUR NETWORK PERFORMANCE ENGINEER - ANALYST

  • Work with users and customers to define the key performance indicators (KPIs) for systems and infrastructure
  • Create monitoring processes based on use cases, workflows, and data
  • Design and run tests to check the performance of systems and infrastructure
  • Share findings and improvement recommendations through reports and briefings
  • Create and enforce policies to standardize systems and monitoring tools
  • Set up monitoring systems to test infrastructure and services for user experience and customize them for customer needs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A NETWORK PERFORMANCE ENGINEER - ANALYST

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with networking technologies, specifically switches, routers, and resolving complex LAN/WAN issues
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field OR equivalent combination of education, professional training, or experience
  • Active Security+ CE Certification (or higher) with one or more of the following active network certifications: Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-ENT
  • Active Secret Clearance, with Top-Secret Clearance (preferred)

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or Arista
  • Experience with TACACS, Radius (ACS/ISE)
  • Knowledge of SNMP, Syslog, ACLs, VLAN, Routing, and Switching
  • Network issue resolution skills
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as NetScout, InfoVista, etc., to isolate issues
  • Ability to assess and optimize network performance
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
