PeopleSoft Project Manager
Detroit, MI
6+ Months Contract
The PeopleSoft Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of PeopleSoft-related projects and enhancements across the district. This role will collaborate with stakeholders, manage project timelines, and oversee resources to ensure successful implementations and continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, or other ERP environments and a strong understanding of ERP business processes in a K–12 or public sector setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage PeopleSoft project planning, implementation, and enhancement efforts.
- Maintain project timelines, deliverables, and status reporting.
- Identify risks, manage changes, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Draft, review, and document business processes related to PeopleSoft projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical staff, functional teams, and end-users.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and foster strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Engage stakeholders with professionalism and tact, making users feel comfortable and supported throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing ERP projects, preferably in PeopleSoft HCM, Finance, or related environments.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Skilled at drafting and documenting business processes and aligning them with ERP best practices.
- Ability to build trust and maintain collaborative working relationships.
Knowledge of ERP best practices in K–12, higher education, or the public sector is a plus
