Overview\n
An innovative engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer to help design, develop, and modernize applications that support analytics, research, decision-making, and operational workflows.
\n
This role will play a key part in transforming a legacy desktop-based platform into a modern cloud-native web application. The ideal candidate enjoys building high-quality software, collaborating with stakeholders, and working across the full application stack to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities\n

- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications.
- Contribute to the modernization of legacy desktop applications and migration to web-based platforms.
- Build scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Develop intuitive user experiences using modern web technologies.
- Integrate internal and external data sources, analytics tools, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and testing activities.
- Support applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Work within Agile development teams and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications\n

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python development.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#.
- Experience building modern web applications using:\n

- HTML5
- CSS
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Angular, React, or similar frameworks

- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working with distributed application architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application development (AWS or similar).
- Experience working in Agile environments and source control systems.

Pay and Benefits\n
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $100.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
