About the Role

VinnCorp is seeking a qualified Network Technician to support an upcoming transit infrastructure project in the Sacramento, CA area. The technician will be responsible for equipment installation, Ethernet/network cabling, testing, and supporting system commissioning and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Install and terminate Ethernet/network cabling.
- Mount and connect project equipment to existing infrastructure.
- Perform cable testing and connectivity verification.
- Support system commissioning and validation activities.
- Complete installation documentation, checklists, and punch-list items.
- Provide daily updates on installation progress and completed activities.
- Identify and report installation issues as needed.
- Follow all project-specific installation procedures and standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Comply with all applicable site safety, access, and quality requirements.

Requirements
\n

- Previous experience in network, telecommunications, electrical, low-voltage, or equipment installation.
- Hands-on experience with Ethernet/network cabling installation and termination.
- Ability to perform cable testing and connectivity verification.
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions, drawings, and project documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work on-site in the Sacramento, CA area.
- Must be able to comply with project site safety and access requirements.

Project Duration

The anticipated assignment is 30–45 days, with the possibility of schedule adjustments based on project requirements.
