Role Description: This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test activities for biometric systems, including fingerprint, face, and other identity verification technologies. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed test plans and test cases, performing functional and performance testing, documenting test results, and analyzing system behavior to identify defects or performance issues. The engineer collaborates with system architects, developers, and project managers to refine requirements, improve system reliability, and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards. The role also involves preparing test reports, participating in technical reviews, supporting system integration and acceptance testing, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an Active Security Clearance at TS or Secret level.
  • \n

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, with experience in structured test methodologies for complex systems.
  • \n

  • Candidates should possess practical skills in Test Execution, including planning test cycles, running manual or automated tests, and recording results accurately.
  • \n

  • Candidates should possess skills in developing and maintaining Test Cases, including traceability to requirements and coverage analysis for Functional Testing.
  • \n

  • Candidates should possess applied experience in Functional Testing of biometric or similar software/hardware systems, including validation of system features and user workflows.
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • \n

  • Experience with biometric technologies, identity management systems, or security-focused systems is highly beneficial.
  • \n

  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, as well as basic scripting or automation skills, is preferred.
  • \n

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • \n

  • Ability to work on-site and support occasional test events or customer meetings as required.
