Role Description The Development and Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tulsa, OK, responsible for overseeing fundraising, donor relations, and day-to-day operational functions that support Drexel Academy’s mission. This position manages development initiatives, including donor cultivation, stewardship activities, grant writing, and fundraising events, while maintaining accurate records and reporting. The role also coordinates operational processes such as facilities support, vendor relationships, compliance tracking, and basic budgeting and purchasing. The manager collaborates closely with school leadership to align development strategies and operational priorities with organizational goals, ensuring a safe, efficient, and mission-centered environment for students, families, staff, and supporters. Typical activities include preparing communications and reports, monitoring timelines, improving internal workflows, and providing responsive support to stakeholders.

- Candidates should possess skills in data entry, record-keeping, and use of office productivity tools (such as word processing, spreadsheets, and CRM or donor databases).
- Bachelor’s degree in education, nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in nonprofit, education, or community-based organizations, especially in development or operations, is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to educational equity, community engagement, and alignment with Drexel Academy’s mission and values.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
