Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for consulting with clients on quality assurance operations and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards. This role aids in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems to support product safety and regulatory readiness.
Responsibilities
- Complete required items to fulfill actions for quality management system improvement.
- Review and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with training program creation and implementation to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate activities to ensure alignment with leadership.
- Provide other support as needed.
- Mentor client teams on best practices in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Essential Skills
- Regulatory remediation expertise.
- Ability to work independently and on-site in East Troy, WI.
- Experience in FDA-regulated environments with transferable skills from the homeopathic industry preferred.
- Proven track record of leading quality initiatives and regulatory remediation projects.
- Strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, and enforcement response.
- Quality assurance expertise.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality and compliance roles within FDA-regulated industries.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a Scientific field.
Work Environment
The role requires comfort with traveling to a site in East Troy, WI. The facility is located on farmland, providing a unique work setting distinct from a typical manufacturing environment. The individual will work closely with junior team members and must possess subject matter expertise, as this knowledge is not available in-house.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of East Troy, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
