We are looking for an experienced IT support specialist to provide high-touch technical assistance. This position focuses on delivering dependable deskside and remote support, coordinating meeting technology, and ensuring a seamless experience across office and event environments. The role calls for strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to work across support groups to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver responsive technical assistance for executives and staff, including hardware troubleshooting, software support, installations, and both in-person and remote issue resolution.
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot audio, video, and conferencing tools for meetings, presentations, and special events.
• Create and refine support procedures and knowledge documentation to improve repeatable solutions and user experience.
• Investigate recurring technical problems, identify underlying causes, and partner with other IT teams to drive lasting fixes.
• Provide hands-on support for executive and board meetings at company sites and off-site venues, including preparation and live troubleshooting.
• Assess meeting spaces and event locations to identify technical risks, readiness gaps, and support needs before executive sessions begin.
• Support a range of technologies across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms, along with common business applications such as Microsoft 365.
• Track incidents and service requests through ticketing tools while working within established service expectations and response commitments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or a high school diploma with substantial equivalent hands-on IT experience.
• At least 4 years of overall work experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a technical support capacity.
• Practical experience supporting audio/visual equipment, conferencing platforms, and related software tools.
• Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems in an end-user support environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and other standard business productivity applications.
• Experience using ticketing systems and operating within defined service level expectations.
• Strong customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support senior stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, and willingness to travel to local offices and off-site events.
