We’re hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Louisville to support that work. You’ll partner with project managers and colleagues to coordinate daily activity, maintain accurate information, and help projects progress from the initial plan through delivery.

What Will You Be Working On?

  • Helping prepare project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers.
  • \n

  • Checking progress against deadlines and following up on open tasks.
  • \n

  • Coordinating updates between project teams, clients, and external contacts.
  • \n

  • Organizing meetings, preparing materials, and recording agreed actions.
  • \n

  • Maintaining project documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • \n

  • Gathering information for resource planning and expense tracking.
  • \n

  • Highlighting delays, missing details, or changes that need attention.
  • \n

  • Supporting project managers with revised priorities and requirements.
  • \n

  • Preparing status summaries and assisting with final handover documents.
  • \n

You May Be Closer to This Role Than You Think

\n

Have you managed schedules, coordinated deliveries, organized an event, or handled several requests during a busy shift? Those experiences can build useful coordination skills.

\n

Previous experience in administration, operations, project support, events, or client services is helpful. Transferable experience from Louisville’s logistics, hospitality, retail, and customer-facing workplaces is also welcome.

\n


\n

A specific degree or project management certification isn’t required. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Reliable follow-through on assigned work.
  • \n

  • Confidence using spreadsheets, email, calendars, and documents.
  • \n

  • A willingness to ask questions and learn new processes.

Build Confidence Through Practice

\n

You’ll receive training on company systems, project procedures, and reporting requirements. Working alongside the project team, you’ll develop experience in scheduling, coordinating resources, communicating changes, and tracking deliverables.

\n

As your skills grow, you’ll have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and suggest improvements to everyday project coordination.
