Job DescriptionNow Hiring – Structured Cabling Installation Technician
Agility Integration is a well-established Southern California infrastructure contractor with nearly 25 years in business. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on technician to join our installation team on a full-time, long-term basis.
$24–$34/hour based on experience and demonstrated installation skills. Most projects are located throughout the Inland Empire, with additional work throughout Southern California.
This is a hands-on physical installation position focused on structured cabling and physical infrastructure—not an IT/help-desk position. Networking and computer support experience are not required.
Installations Include
Structured cabling, surveillance cameras, access control, paging/announcement, A/V, wireless infrastructure, data centers, telecom room build-outs and commercial move/add/change projects.
The position focuses on physical infrastructure installation and deployment. Training is available for qualified candidates with related construction, electrical, low-voltage or cabling experience.
General Expectations
- Be punctual, reliable and prepared to work each day.
- Work effectively with installation crews, project managers and customers.
- Be able to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Be comfortable working at elevated heights and operating scissors and boom lifts.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety.
- Typical start times are 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., depending on project location.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be available but are not mandatory.
Experience Preferred
- Structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience, including copper and/or fiber.
- Experience with CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A, coaxial and security cabling, terminations, dressing, labeling and telecom room build-outs.
- Ability to read construction plans and understand building pathways. Electrical or conduit experience is a plus.
Candidates with related construction, electrical or low-voltage experience who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
