About the role

\n

You will own new-logo acquisition and existing account growth for Onward Tech's engineering-services portfolio across growth-stage and mid-market MedTech firms in the Midwest. This is a consultative, solution-led sale - not transactional.

\n

What you'll sell

\n

    \n
  • AI Projects: ML model development, GenAI and LLM applications, computer vision for imaging and diagnostics, and predictive analytics, including AI-enabled SaMD taken from proof-of-concept through validated, regulatory-ready deployment
  • \n

  • Digital Engineering: DevOps, data engineering, data analytics, QA & test automation, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), product engineering, SaMD development
  • \n

  • Regulatory Assurance: FDA 510(k) support, EU MDR/IVDR compliance, DHF management, IEC 62304, CSV/CSA, post-market surveillance, CAPA automation
  • \n

  • Manufacturing Engineering: Production and process engineering, design-for-manufacturability, tooling and fixture design, automation and equipment engineering, and manufacturing/test support for medical device.
  • \n

\n

Key responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Work a named-account list of MedTech and digital health companies with an ABM-led approach
  • \n

  • Run consultative, CTO/VP-level conversations that translate engineering and regulatory pain into scoped engagements
  • \n

  • Build and manage pipeline in CRM; forecast accurately against revenue and pipeline targets
  • \n

  • Partner with delivery leadership on solutioning, proposals, and senior-led delivery reviews
  • \n

  • Represent Onward at industry events and contribute to whitepapers and case studies
  • \n

\n

What you bring

\n

    \n
  • 8+ years selling engineering, product-development, or regulatory/quality services into medical device, MedTech, or life-sciences companies
  • \n

  • Fluency talking to technical buyers (Engineering Leaders, Quality/Regulatory Leaders) and translating between engineering and commercial value
  • \n

  • Working understanding of the medical-device regulatory landscape (FDA, EU MDR/IVDR, IEC 62304)
  • \n

  • Comfort selling a dual-shore/offshore delivery model and defending it on quality, speed, and cost.
  • \n

  • Established Midwest network in MedTech / life sciences is a strong plus.
  • \n

\n

How success is measured

\n

    \n
  • Qualified pipeline generated and revenue closed.
  • \n

  • New logos landed and named accounts penetrated.
  • \n
