CT Logistics (Commercial Traffic Company) a long-standing freight audit and logistics management firm that helps businesses manage shipping costs through services like freight bill auditing, payment, rating software, and supply chain solutions, handling complex transportation data for companies of all sizes from its Parma base. Working with small businesses to Fortune 100 corporations, CT manages freight globally and has managed the financial and logistical complexities of shipping freight for other companies, with a significant presence in Parma, OH, for over a century.
The Role
CT is looking for a seasoned EDI coordinator who has a proven understanding of EDI Transaction Sets; heavy mapping of Transaction Sets; client-focused competency; and an established pattern of intense problem solving.
The EDI Coordinator will be familiar with EDI Transaction Sets and Translator Platforms, and will be able to clearly articulate their experience with Transaction Sets and Platform during the selection process.
What You’ll Do
- You will understand basic FTP and file movement between Windows, UNIX and Linux systems
- You will have a working knowledge of basic file transfer encryption technologies: AS1/AS2, PPG, GPG, password protection, SSH & FTPS
- You will be familiar with or have performed Electronic DATA MAPPING using 1EDI Source (EDICHQ) translation software
- You are able to Test, Implement, and Maintain Trading Partner relationships for projects related to FBP and third-party interfacing
- You have created and maintained EDI dashboards
- You have an understanding of testing and implementing EDI with Images
- You possess basic scripting language and task scheduling
- You are able to coordinate new EDI Partner launches for both new and existing clients
- You can communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal processing teams
- Backup/Administrative duties in other areas of the EDI department as needed
Who You Are
- You have prior EDI experience
- High school degree or 3+ year’s professional EDI experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical skills with strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong ability to act as liaison between internal users, carriers and customers
- Logistics experience preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
