We are seeking a hands-on Technical Delivery Lead to drive the implementation of complex enterprise software initiatives in a Microsoft technology environment. This individual will bridge solution architecture and engineering execution, translating high-level designs into actionable development plans while coordinating multiple distributed engineering teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with the ability to make independent technical decisions, manage cross-team dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions under aggressive deadlines. This is a technical leadership role, not a traditional project management position.
Key Responsibilities
-
Translate architectural designs and technical specifications into implementation plans, development priorities, and delivery milestones.
-
Lead distributed engineering teams through development, integration, testing, and deployment.
-
Make implementation-level decisions while ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements.
-
Coordinate dependencies, API contracts, and integration points across multiple teams and systems.
-
Provide technical guidance on microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
-
Support asynchronous messaging and application development using Azure Service Bus and related .NET frameworks.
-
Identify technical risks, resolve implementation challenges, and maintain delivery momentum across concurrent workstreams.
Required Qualifications
-
8+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on C# and .NET development.
-
Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Development Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar technical leadership role.
-
Strong experience with .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.
-
Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, CQRS, and event-driven messaging.
-
Experience translating architectural direction into implementation plans and coordinating interdependent engineering teams.
-
Proven ability to lead distributed or offshore teams, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and deliver against demanding timelines.
-
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
Preferred:
- Angular, MassTransit, domain-driven design (DDD), and enterprise modernization experience. Recent hands-on development experience within the past 2–3 years is highly desirable.
- The successful candidate will be an accountable, technically credible leader who can independently drive implementation from architectural direction through production delivery.
