COMPENSATION $34-40/hr Benefits offered
SCHEDULE 40 hours/wk, Monday-Friday
CONTRACT TERM 6 months with high likelihood of extension or conversion to full time employee.
POSITION OVERVIEW – Project Manager I- The Project Manager will support the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects by coordinating schedules, resources, documentation, and cross-functional communication. This role serves as a point of contact to ensure project activities are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, leadership, suppliers, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Coordinate project meetings with key stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineering teams, and cross-functional partners, to support project alignment and execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, issues, or delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with purchase order request processes by preparing required documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and tracking PO status through approval and completion.
- Manage multiple projects or project tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Manage internal tracking system to create and maintain blade repair cases, monitor repair progress, track resolution activities, and facilitate communication between Engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with established project processes, quality standards, and organizational procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, operations coordination, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Box, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Project management certifications such as CAPM or PMP are preferred but not required.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience supporting quality, manufacturing, engineering, operations, or technical projects.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, process improvement initiatives, or compliance-driven environments.
- Experience with reporting, audits, corrective action tracking, or continuous improvement activities.
