Snoop Investigations & Security is seeking Armed Security Officers to protect and patrol a corporate office building in Schenectady, NY. Officers will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.
Openings Available:
- Full-Time
- Part-Time
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises to prevent and respond to theft, disturbances, or unauthorized access
- Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure security
- Enforce site policies and safety regulations
- Monitor for suspicious activity and address security concerns
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with police or EMS if needed
- Document incidents and report facility risks (fire hazards, leaks, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
- ValidNew York State Armed Security Guard License
- Current 8-Hour Annual Refresher Certificate
- 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, alert, and reliable
- Able to stand or patrol for long periods
- Must pass a background check
Preferred Experience (one or more):
- 2+ years of full-time law enforcement experience
- 2+ years of military service (honorable discharge)
- 3+ years of school security officer experience
