Job Description
The Grounds Maintenance Worker is an essential part of the Landscaping Team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor environments. This role involves hands-on landscaping tasks to keep lawns, gardens, and other green spaces attractive, healthy, and well-maintained using a variety of tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers according to landscaping plans
- Remove weeds and apply mulch to improve soil quality and garden aesthetics
- Operate equipment such as zero turn mowers, hand tools, and power trimmers
- Conduct regular site cleanup ensuring areas are tidy and free of debris
- Care for trees including pruning and general maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in grounds maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Skilled in operating lawn mowing equipment
- Knowledge of weed control techniques
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
