Job DescriptionZeke’s Marina is looking for a reliable and responsible Overnight Security Officer to help keep our property, guests, and vessels safe during late-night hours.
Position: Overnight Security
Location: Zeke’s Marina – Orange Beach, AL
Schedule: Overnight shifts (typically 8 PM – 6 AM, weekends 4 days a week)
Responsibilities
- Patrol marina property, docks, parking areas, and facilities
- Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, or safety hazards
- Ensure security of boats, vehicles, and marina assets
- Check gates, locks, and lighting throughout the property
- Respond to incidents and contact management or authorities if needed
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and vandalism
- Complete nightly activity reports
- Fuel up charter boats
Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Strong attention to detail and awareness
- Good communication skills
- Prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus (not required)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to walk and patrol for extended periods
