Must have D &G licenses. Do not apply if candidate does not posses “G” license. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management. The Security Officer will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as necessary.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Utilize system to monitor activities within the facility and report any irregularities.
- Respond promptly to community residents and emergency situations,
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related matters for management review.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while managing conflicts or disturbances effectively.
Skills
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Certification in loss prevention is a plus.
- Proficient in surveillance techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Military experience is advantageous but not required.
