We are seeking a detail-oriented Apartment Make Ready Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team. If you are dependable, hands-on, and motivated to prepare apartment homes for new residents, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing full make-ready turns.
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair fixtures and structures including sinks, showers, appliances, cabinets, doors, walls, and building exteriors.
- Assist with exterior upkeep and overall property appearance as needed.
- Repair, install, and troubleshoot appliances.
- Coordinate priorities with the Property Manager to ensure timely unit completion.
- Ensure apartments are restored to move-in-ready condition efficiently and professionally.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous apartment make-ready or maintenance experience preferred.
- Must have your own basic tools.
- Ability to complete painting, repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
- Appliance repair and troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.
- Remodeling, handyman, construction, or general labor experience is helpful if there is no on-site experience.
- Groundskeeping experience and/or CPO certification is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
