Job Description

Position Summary

Mid-Level Software Engineers support the design, development, and delivery of software systems in support of the customer's requirements, working both individually and as members of an Agile development team. Mid-Level Software Engineers take ownership of user stories from implementation through unit testing and integration, contribute to design discussions, and support documentation efforts. Mid-Level Software Engineers are expected to work with growing independence while continuing to build technical depth and may begin providing informal guidance to more junior engineers.


Requirements

US Citizenships and TS/SCI with Polygraph (no exceptions)


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3-6 years of relevant professional software engineering experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript)
  • Solid experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding, unit testing, and integration
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams
  • Experience with version control and configuration management tools
  • Experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Working understanding of modern software design patterns and secure coding standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a development team
