Garage Commercial Cleaner (Temp)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our hotel parking garage, stairwells, elevators, and associated common areas. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, light maintenance duties, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for hotel guests and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain hotel parking garage areas, including entrances, exits, walkways, ramps, and parking spaces.
- Remove trash, debris, and litter from garage floors, stairways, elevators, and surrounding exterior areas.
- Sweep, mop, pressure wash, and scrub floors as needed.
- Clean elevator interiors, doors, tracks, mirrors, walls, and control panels.
- Maintain stairwells by sweeping, mopping, dusting railings, and removing debris.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Respond promptly to spills and other cleanliness concerns.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions to management.
- Perform minor repairs such as tightening fixtures, replacing signs, or addressing simple maintenance concerns.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, vacuums, and other maintenance tools.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Provide courteous assistance to hotel guests when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, hotel housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.

Pay rate: $24.10 per hour
