Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the chance to support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and people-first team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity in accordance with site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could affect daily operations.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and assisting with security-related response procedures as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
