  • Drive adoption of containerization technologies and modern deployment practices.
  • Monitor build performance, automation metrics, and system reliability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to improve development and release workflows.
  • Serve as the technical lead for build systems, deployment automation, and release engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure development pipelines adhere to security, compliance, and reliability standards.
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps technologies and recommend improvements to engineering processes and tooling.
  • Communicate technical strategy and project progress to engineering leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, or a related software engineering discipline.
  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
  • Strong scripting or programming experience using Python, Kotlin, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with complex build systems, including CMake, Yocto, or Embedded Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), automation, and release engineering best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading or mentoring DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE teams.
  • Experience developing DevOps strategy and enterprise-scale automation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting embedded software development environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience implementing security best practices within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Compensation & Work Model

  • Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and technical expertise.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Work Model: Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote).

Growth Opportunity

  • Opportunity to transition into broader engineering leadership responsibilities while remaining highly involved in technical strategy and architecture.
  • Clear career progression within a collaborative, engineering-driven organization focused on innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
