Job DescriptionThe JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a 2ND SHIFT – Food Industry Maintenance Tech to work at a company located in the Bedford Park, IL area!
Job Title: 2ND SHIFT – FOOD INDUSTRY MAINTENANCE TECH Job Location: BEDFORD PARK, ILSalary: Pay Rate: $30 -$40hr depending on experience Shift: Monday through Friday + Weekends as Needed
- 2nd Shift – 2pm to 10pm
(8 hours a day – 6 days a week but will work overtime if needed and Saturday and Sunday 10-12 hours one will work Sat and will work Sunday)Bilingual – English/Spanish PreferredJob Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have 2 years of Maintenance Technician experience
- 2-5 years’ working in the industrial bakery or food manufacturing environment
- Responsible for production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Knowledgeable in set up, adjustment, maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in the production facility.
- Must have electrical and mechanical experience.
- Knowledgeable in supporting equipment (such as ovens, packing lines, conveyors) plumbing, pneumatic hydraulics, and cutting.
- Electrical, PLC Diagnostics, Welding MIG, TIG, Stick a plus.
- Strong Mechanical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills Service-oriented (responsive)
- Great communicator, process-oriented, methodical
- Able to stand for extended periods of time; walking, lifting, climbing, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Education:
- High School Diploma.
- Power Industrial Training Certification a plus
