Job Description

North Star is seeking to fill the position of Quality Assurance Coordinator.

In this position, you will monitor and oversee North Star's quality assurance program, apprenticeship program, and staff training program. This position will ensure compliance with governing bodies and regulatory entities, such as Iowa Administrative Code, & CARF. . This individual will also create, provide, and monitor completion of training to employees at North Star. Additionally, this position will have responsibility for oversight of the North Star Apprentice Program. This position is an integral part of the administrative team that requires the ability to manage multiple projects and programs, and the ability to create reports and provide data.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of training program(s): including training on documentation guidelines and MADNT training.
  • Ensure training program(s) address a variety of service needs, learning styles, and comprehension levels to improve service quality.
  • Maintain and monitor training records for compliance according to agency policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct designated trainings
  • Responsibility for updating and managing the contact for the Learning Management System (Relias)
  • Maintain a current working understanding of governing bodies and regulatory entities, such as the Iowa Administrative Code, CARF, MCO employee training requirements.
