Mission
Protect people, quality, and uptime. Apply our health and safety procedures rigorously while maintaining a diverse mix of production machinery and plant systems. Complete routine inspections of machines, equipment, and facilities, and respond to maintenance requests with urgency and precision.
How You’ll Grow and Contribute Level 1 — Foundations
- Set the bar with best-in-class behavior around safety, quality, and policy compliance.
- Operate standard maintenance tools—hand, power, and basic electrical test gear—safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety rules and departmental procedures without exception.
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance and minor fixes.
- Assist maintenance teammates with a range of directed tasks.
- Spot, document, and report abnormal machine operation and defective equipment.
- Use LOTO, HAZCOM, PPE, Confined Space, and all required Company/State/Federal safety programs.
- Pitch in to train other maintenance staff when asked.
- Deliver PMs aligned with your current proficiency.
- Handle additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or Department Assistant.
Level 2 — Advanced
- Perform all Level 1 tasks.
- Bring 2+ years of technical training and 3+ years of hands-on experience (or equivalent).
- Confidently read/interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Support fellow technicians and machine operators as needed.
- Apply structured problem-solving to drive resolution.
- Partner with engineering to gather data and pilot early-stage projects.
- Coordinate with OEM/service engineers; communicate unusual conditions for fix-forward actions.
- Execute emergency protocols during power failures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic mechanical or electrical tasks.
- Use basic welding skills where required.
Level 3 — Expert
- Own all Level 1 and Level 2 accountabilities.
- Bring 2+ years technical training and 5+ years of experience (or equivalent).
- Find, document, communicate, and resolve equipment issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot and repair from mechanical/electrical prints; recommend design enhancements.
- Show strong competence in standard mechanical and electrical work.
- Serve as an expert resource to engineering project teams.
- Draft new PM procedures and manage them via document control.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- English communication skills—spoken and written.
- Forklift experience.
- Knowledge of press operation.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and associated quality requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of company policies, shop practices, and safety standards.
- HVAC and refrigerant systems exposure is a plus.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel repeatedly; lift and maneuver heavy/cumbersome items up to 50 lbs.
