Position Overview
\n
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager / Estimator with 5+ years of electrical construction experience to support Affordable Housing multi-family projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates, managing projects from bid through completion, and collaborating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electrical estimates and takeoffs for affordable housing and multi-family residential projects using HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and NEC requirements to define project scope and material needs.
- Develop competitive bids, budgets, schedules, and cost control strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the estimating and project lifecycle.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors while maintaining quality and project profitability.
- Manage change orders, contract compliance, estimate revisions, and project documentation.
- Transition successful bids into project management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications
\n

- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction estimating and project management.
- Proven experience estimating and managing multi-family or affordable housing electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and electrical construction practices.
- Proficiency with HeavyBid is required; Bluebeam experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and project management.
- Experience negotiating with vendors and subcontractors.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
