Pradera Apartments in San Ramon, Ca. is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents through every step of the leasing process. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience, supporting marketing initiatives, and building strong resident relationships. Success in this position contributes directly to resident satisfaction, occupancy goals, and the overall success of the community.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the leasing office is clean, hospitable, and professional in appearance during business hours.
- Open, inspect, and prepare model and vacant units for daily tours.
- Assist Community Manager in generating qualified traffic and achieving occupancy goals.
- Conduct property tours, assess prospective residents’ needs and qualifications, and effectively close leases in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Inspect apartments at least 24 hours prior to move-in to ensure they are for occupancy.
- Maintain weekly and monthly sales goals as set forth by (Sr.) Community Manager to meet or exceed budgeted occupancy.
- Address resident concerns promptly and escalate to the Assistant Community Manager or Community manager as needed.
- Support resident engagement and retention initiatives.
- Support efforts to maintain and enhance the property’s on-line reputation management.
- Enter leasing activity into Yardi daily including traffic, leases, and resident work orders.
- Review and process applications in accordance with company policies and submit completed files for manager approval.
- Complete monthly reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in sales, leasing, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and occasional holidays.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as leases, addendums to leases, pertinent move-in/move-out paperwork and various notices to residents such as Notice to Comply. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, rents, and other leasing-related figures.
- Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm and responsive demeanor, using good judgment and initiative.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and processing.
