Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking a Databricks MVP Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise data platform. This role combines strategic architecture, hands-on leadership, and expertise in building scalable Lakehouse solutions on Databricks.
Current Databricks MVP designation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead enterprise data and AI solutions on Databricks.
- Design and optimize Lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
- Establish data governance, security, and architecture standards.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive data strategy.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
Requirements:
- Active Databricks MVP designation (Required)
- 10+ years of Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Architecture experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Databricks experience.
- Expert knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Databricks Professional Certifications.
- Experience with AI/ML and Generative AI workloads.
- Consulting or client-facing architecture experience.
