Job DescriptionQuality Technician
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with prominent clients in South Bend within the Industrial industry.
Quality Technician Job Summary:
- $23/hr starting
- 1st shift 6am – 2:30pm Monday – Friday
- Possible overtime when needed
- Preform quality test checks and fill out proper corresponding paperwork
- Document all corrective actions and participate in continuous quality improvement functions
- Perform first/last piece inspections and procedures
- Make print outs of all gages for calibrations for the respective month
- Read and follow blueprints to correctly check parts
- Hourly floor checks on parts
Quality Technician Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A QUALITY DEPARTMENT
- Experience with weld inspection, weld test cut
- Ability to ready a tape measure accurately
- Confident in mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions)
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
- Time management skills
- Ability to stay on task with little supervision
