Certified Apartment Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a well-established apartment community in Texarkana, TX. If you have experience in apartment maintenance and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential communities, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform apartment make-readies, including repairs, painting, and unit preparation.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Assist with grounds upkeep and ensure the community remains clean and presentable.
- Repair drywall, doors, windows, locks, cabinets, flooring, and other building components.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and management.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- EPA Certification is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
