Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and document security-related concerns, observations, and/or incidents in required logs and reports.
- Support site operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by communicating with supervisors, following post orders, and addressing routine security-related matters with professionalism.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the TSA is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
