The Porter - Maintenance plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of facilities, supporting maintenance operations, and providing assistance to other departments as needed. This position requires a reliable individual who can handle various janitorial, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas, including hallways, stairwells, and restrooms
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs as directed
- Transport equipment, supplies, and waste to appropriate locations
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and properly
- Report any facility issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly
- Support special projects and events with logistical and maintenance assistance
- Monitor and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies as necessary
- Follow all safety and health regulations to create a secure environment.
