Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team!
Please note that our maintenance services are for community associations and involves outdoor work in all types of weather.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and light maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose
- Major repairs and construction
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Other as required in all areas of maintenance & construction
- Supervisor - Prioritize work orders and ensure technicians perform quality work in an efficient manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance including light electrical, light plumbing, framing, painting, sheetrock repair
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle a physical workload including:
- The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds
- The ability to work in extreme weather
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekends and after hour on-call responsibilities
