Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour (Paid Biweekly on Fridays)
Typical School-Year Schedule
Monday–Friday
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
*Periodic Full-Days/Late Starts/Early Releases as schools are scheduled*

About the Role
Leading Edge is seeking experienced, organized, and enthusiastic Site Directors to lead our after-school programs serving Woodbridge School District
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a licensed school-age childcare program while creating a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for students, families, and staff.
Our Site Directors wear many hats. They're coaches, mentors, relationship builders, problem solvers, curriculum leaders, and trusted partners within their school communities. While administrative responsibilities are an important part of the position, you'll also spend your day interacting with students, supporting your team, and creating experiences children look forward to every day.
We're looking for someone who understands that great programs don't happen by accident-they're built through strong leadership, creativity, organization, and genuine care for children and families.
Knowledge of New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and experience leading licensed childcare, youth development, camp, or before and after school programs is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, mentor, and support program staff
- Create engaging enrichment activities and student-centered programming
- Foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive program culture
- Build strong relationships with students, families, school staff, and community partners
- Ensure compliance with all New Jersey DCF licensing regulations and company policies
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-student ratios and oversee daily program operations
- Support positive behavior through relationship-building and proactive guidance
- Complete attendance, licensing, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Serve as the primary leader and point of contact for your assigned program

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet New Jersey licensing requirements, including:
- Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 college credits
- At least two years of experience working with children in a group setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience in before- and after-school programs, childcare, camps, recreation, or youth development
- Knowledge of New Jersey childcare licensing regulations
- Experience supervising, coaching, or developing staff
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with active student engagement
Additional Requirements
- Completion of all state-required employment and licensing requirements before beginning work
- Submission/Completion of required New Jersey state-mandated training
