Univesco, Inc. is an established, family-owned and managed property management company headquartered in Plano, Texas. With over four decades of experience, we own and operate more than 4,000 apartment units across Texas and Florida.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents at one of our DFW-area communities. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring every unit is restored to top-notch, market-ready condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vacated units and complete unit turns to market-ready condition using make-ready checklists
  • Perform cleaning, painting, minor repairs (e.g., drywall, caulking, fixtures), and appliance checks
  • Replace or repair items as needed, such as lights, locks, screens, and flooring
  • Coordinate with the team to prioritize tasks and meet turnover timelines
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and assist with occasional groundskeeping or preventative maintenance

Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of proven experience in multi-family/apartment maintenance, turnover work, or related field
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Basic knowledge of tools and common repair techniques (painting, plumbing basics, electrical basics a plus)
  • Basic computer skills for work-order systems (Yardi experience a plus)
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset
