The Tower Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, inspection, and installation tasks on communication towers to ensure optimal operation and safety. This role involves working at significant heights as part of a climbing team and requires physical stamina, strict adherence to safety protocols, and regular travel within the assigned territory covering WA, NV, and Northern CA.
Responsibilities
- Perform tower climbing for inspection, maintenance, and equipment installation
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards
- Collaborate effectively as part of a climbing team
- Respond promptly to on-call outages and perform emergency repairs
- Conduct routine checks to maintain communication infrastructure reliability
- Travel regularly within assigned regions including Reno, NV; Bellingham, WA; and Spokane, WA
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months tower climbing experience
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and responding to on-call outages
Preferred Qualifications
- Telecom or wireless field experience
