Owings Patterns currently seeks a qualified individual for the position of In-line Thermoforming Team Lead. The seat’s mission is to provide leadership for the team and respond to appropriate issues while upholding our core values. To facilitate and assist successful, productive and effective meetings with team members. Develop and assign measurables for team members. Thermoform plastic parts that meet the quality requirements of the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities· Machine set-up and maintenance
· Accurate QCS Reporting
· Prepare and maintain Green Folder
· Set up molds and tooling and get jobs running efficiently
· Run in-line thermoforming machines with a focus on quality and output
· Inspect parts and ensure they meet specs every time
· Troubleshoot issues and keep machines running
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
· Track scrap and support continuous improvement
· Drive Process Improvement
· Technical Training for Thermoformers and CNC Router Teams
· Technical Support for Quality Manager and ISO Processes
· Support Initial Proto/Pilot Runs
Skills and Qualifications· Ability to work as part of a Team

· Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand 8 hours per day, and bend, carry, pull, and reach frequently
· Ability to develop, document, and implement thermoforming processes

· Machine Set-up sheet and recipe creation
· Machine Maintenance
· Measurement of parts, using both calipers and go-no-go gauges
Experience and Education
The best candidates will:
· Be mechanically inclined and comfortable with equipment
· Have mastered the ability to read drawings and use measuring tools
· Have manufacturing experience (Thermoforming is a big plus)
· Be a team player and maintain a positive attitude
· Have Trade school education in a manufacturing field
· Have a High School Diploma or GED
Owings Patterns offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and 401k matching. Our work schedule is generally a 40-hour week, 7:00am-3:30pm with a half hour lunch, Monday – Friday unless production demands require us to modify it.
