Responsibilities:
- Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and conducive conditions
- Develop and execute integrated pest management (IPM) treatment plans tailored to each customer's needs
- Apply pesticides, baits, and other pest control solutions safely and in accordance with label instructions and regulations
- Educate customers on pest prevention tips and communicate treatment recommendations clearly
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and chemical usage logs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through reliable, professional service
- Manage and restock service vehicle with necessary equipment and products
Requirements:
- Valid Maryland, D.C and Virginia Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain one upon hire
- Prior experience in pest control, extermination, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of common pests including rodents, insects, and wildlife
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, manage a route, and stay organized
- Comfortable working in various environments including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions
